Director Kaushik Ganguly has weaved in a beautiful story which is essentially a tale of relationships. From an alcoholic Prosenjit’s relationship with wife Rita (played by Aparajita Auddy) to his love-hate relationship with son Rishi (played by Rwitobroto Mukherjee) to his equation with his band members and right-hand man Khokon (played by Lama Halder) and even with one of his kidnappers Firoz (played by Rajesh Sharma) – the film deals with each of them deftly and efficiently.

That Tollywood’s Superstar Prosenjit is a brilliant actor has been established beyond a doubt over decades. In Kishore Kumar Junior, he is ably supported by other cast members like Aparajita, Lama, Rwitobroto, Rajesh and Maswood Akhtar (who plays the other terrorist Taufiq). Together, they make the film a gripping watch.

So after being kidnapped, she takes up the charge of cooking for everyone after one meal cooked by the terrorists. The results? Even they become fans of his cooking.
