6 Ways To Help Those Around You Like Nakshi Kantha’s Debdeep Aka Indrajit Chakraborty

In the hit Bengali TV serial Nakshi Kantha, Debdeep (played by Indrajit Chakraborty) is a doctor who rescues the lead character Shabnam (played by Manali Dey) when she meets with a dangerous accident. He nurses her back to health, take cares of her and then marries her, not knowing that she had been married to Jash (played by Suman Dey) because Shabnam had lost her memory. Debdeep is friends with Jash now and when he finds out about this, it doesn’t change this fact. Rather, when Jash is taken ill because of cancer, it is Debdeep who conducts his surgery and ensures he is kept in the best of health. All in all, Debdeep is a great guy and a helpful person, and more of him could surely make the world a much better place! While you don’t even have to go to the lengths that he does, there are several simple ways to make someone’s else day just a little better which can go a long way. Read on to know what they are.

Do more than your fair share of chores and offer to help your family members with theirs for a day, and just see how much they appreciate it! It is said that charity begins at home and indeed if one misses seeing when those closest could use some help, how will he know to help others?

Make a donation either monetarily or in kind to those who may need it. Gather up your unused belongings that are in good condition and you know you will not use, and give them away to someone who might. You can look up charity organisations in your area or donate to a cause that you care about.

6. Community service

Volunteer your time and efforts to a body that may need it, such as those organisations that feed or educate the needy. Get involved with your immediate community and see how you can improve it. Devoting energy to an altruistic initiative may not reap a monetary reward, but the returns in terms of how you’ll feel about it are incomparable!
