#Sunday 💚 .. Guys I know all the days in the week feel the same .. & it can be a bit depressing with all the news all around .. Which is why #selfcare is important.. For me going out in the sun to the park to do my practice is the most IMP thing to do in a day .. haven’t done it in over a month now .. but I am still keeping calm looking forward to the day when I wake up in the morning .. These are tips that I follow .. Try & make a list of things the night before, as to what you want done in the day .. maybe learn a recipe , call or FT a friend , Read , Sing , watch old films , sort your closet , learn something new ,do some form of workout , yoga , dance , play dress up (for “yourself “ ), – like I just did .. 😊😊 You never know you might come out of this lockdown closer to people , learning new things ( about yourself too) Try some phone (social media ) & news distancing … & Most imp – Meditate & be Grateful that you & your fam is safe & healthy ( write 3-10 things in your gratitude diary daily – I promise it will create magic ) Remember Happiness is a choice .. Choose it daily ♥️ Sending you prayers love & light .. VM ♥️ ( I hope you guys have subscribed to my YouTube channel Vidya Malavade link in bio & swipe up in my stories )
Superfit herself, her ideas are truly worth looking into and practising ourselves. Here they are!
Vidya recommends learning a new recipe that you will enjoy creating and then consuming. The process of cooking can feel very therapeutic while being creative and is also a great skill to have. So, identify a dish you enjoy, and learn to make it yourself.
This is the perfect time to pick up a book and read it through in its entirety. Many of us claim we never get as much as we’d like to be able to do this enough, so this would be the chance to do so. Reading good literature, as opposed to mindless scrolling on social media is food for the brain as well as the soul, so go ahead and choose one that you’d like.
3. Talk to a friend
Music goes a long way in making you feel– whether you are looking for comfort or energy, there is always a piece of music out there that will do the trick. Singing is an activity that can be even more helpful in doing this! So select a song of your choice, and get ready to sing your heart out! It is indeed a lot of fun!
5. Watch old films
Kick back and watch some golden oldies while at home. You can select from a wide range of classics on ZEE5 to stream. Films with the legendary actor Uttam Kumar starring in it are always a good idea, so now is the time to catch up on them!
Practising yoga, just like Vidya, is a great way to keep fit as well as bring peace and calm to your mind. If you need some guidance in yoga, Vidya has started a series on her social media channel to give everyone a chance to learn yoga and do it with her!
