1. More energy
Sourav Ganguly, or Dada, as everyone calls the BCCI President, seems to be carrying on with his healthy ways even after hanging up his cricket boots. He recently referred to the practice of an early start to the day on some photos he posted on his social media page. This had us wondering about the same and today, we look at why it may benefit us to get into the habit of getting an early head-start every day.
Studies have shown that those who tend to wake up early generally have more energy throughout the day. It also signals that they have received seven to nine hours of sleep, which is the optimal amount that we need to function at our best.
2. A morning routine to set the tone
An early start gives you time to fix a morning routine just for yourself to set the tone for the rest of the day. Be it meditation, exercise or looking at your goals, a morning routine gives you a clear head and a more peaceful mindset to carry on with your day.
3. Time for breakfast
4. Organise better
5. Increased productivity
7. Positive outlook
Studies show that those who wake up earlier have a more positive outlook, as they tend to get enough rest, something that is very important to your health and performance!
