Breakfast Special: 4 Healthy Dishes From Rannaghar That You Can Whip Up In No Time

1. Dim Chara Omelette

Breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day for a reason. We gear up for a day ahead of us by fuelling ourselves with the energy we’ll need by eating a nutritious meal that will kickstart our metabolism. However, many of us may choose to skip breakfast because the thought of cooking a full-fledged meal right after we wake up can be daunting. This doesn’t have to be the case though. These healthy dishes from Rannaghar, like Dim Chara Omelette and Murgir Toast, will change all of that. Try them out for yourself!

To make this delicious vegan omelette without eggs, mix gram flour (besan), white flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and water, and knead together till it has blended well. Add chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, and mix well. Heat up some refined oil in a pan, and pour the batter and fry just like you would an omelette. Enjoy!

2. Oats Milk Diye Cold Coffee

This healthy cold coffee is a great alternative to the overly sweet and heavy types, and will get you ready to take on the day in style. In a blender, mix together oats milk, instant coffee powder, sugar substitute and ice till frothy. Pour into tall glasses and sprinkle a dash of coffee on the top. So refreshing!

3. Murgir Toast

To make this filling Chicken on Toast (Murgir Toast), marinate boneless chicken with salt, garlic, onion, and chilli. In a different bowl, mix some flour seasoned with salt, and coat the marinated chicken with the mixture. Fry the marinated chicken in some oil and butter. Add onion slices, chopped garlic, and chilli, and fry some more, then keep aside. Spread garlic paste on a few sandwich bread slices, and fry in oil and butter. Stuff the chicken in between two slices of bread and garnish with lettuce and ketchup. Your Chicken on Toast is now ready!

4. Daab Khejurer Thandai

This sweet, creamy and nutritious smoothie with dates and coconut water is a no-brainer when it comes to a quick and easy meal. Simply blend coconut water, pitted dates, vanilla ice cream (you can substitute this with cold milk and a pinch of vanilla essence), sugar, and ice together in a mixer for a minute. Serve in a large glass and top with some grated coconut!
