Children’s Day 2019: 5 Bengali Movies On ZEE5 That You Must Watch With Your Kids

1. Patalghar

Based on a novel by noted author Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, Patalghar is a science fiction movie which stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Biplab Chatterjee and Joy Sengupta among others. Scientist Aghor Sen invents a machine which can put any living being to sleep by generating waves. The instrument gets lost after he passes away. After 150 years, some goons go looking for it. However, to reach the patalghar (underground room), they must solve some riddles first.

2. Bhoot Bhooture Somuddure

This film is based on a short story written by Prafulla Roy. Narrated by Paran Bandopadhyay, Bhoot Bhooture Somuddure revolves around the siblings Titli and Tabul. They go to Digha on a family vacation. Lalkomol Babu, who stays in the room adjoining theirs, vanishes without any trace. The siblings try to solve the mystery and come across a group of ghosts instead.


3. Charki

Charki is a young and mischievous girl who is not good at her studies. But things change when a veteran teacher enters her life. He uses unconventional ways to teach her.
