In light of the Coronavirus pandemic that has shaken the world, people are taking great measures to stay safe from contracting this highly infectious virus. Apart from going out as little as possible, we are all collectively making an effort to sharpen our daily hygiene practices. It also turns out that up until now, many of us have been quite careless when it comes to something as mundane as washing our hands. Perhaps we are not thorough enough, or skip using soap, or do not lather for the 20 seconds that is ideally recommended to get rid of any germs on our hands.
Abhimaan actor Sayantika Banerjee is among the first stars to post a video of herself taking the #SafeHand challenge on her social media page. In this challenge, participants have to record themselves washing their hands just as it is stipulated, to encourage as many people as possible to do the same.

Sayantika serves as a shining example when it comes to taking the challenge. She has made the video quite entertaining to watch too, with catchy music playing in the background and as always, looking like her gorgeous self. So what are you waiting for? Bring out the soap, go to the sink, put on your camera and your favourite music, and take the #SafeHand challenge today! Make sure to post it on your social media page with the hashtag too. And remember, don’t leave the tap on wastefully when not in use as Madhumita Sarcar reminds us.
